An apocalypse shall come
be it mortal or divine
the overwhelming sum
of our sins has grown malign

and once the world's been trod
beneath the heel of evil's boot
if accused of loving God
will you refute?

I am afraid not to refute after reading this. It is short, and strong. I like it.

No. No matter what anyone says there is only one Prime Creator, and all the so-called 'rules' were man made, if only we'd all get it through our thick heads we wouldn't be in such a mess.

Short but powerful lines...I do like the question at the end ? Nay ~

this show I watched said that if revelation happens then most who profess belief in God will be martyrs and I just said to myself - could I? I believe I could and would pick the side of right over wrong, because that's what it really boils down to. Religion can be a touchy subject so I'm posting something less polarizing today, a poem about politics ;-)

Nope, but will there be enough of us, how many will it take?
Excellent post.

A powerful piece of writing, with questions.....

I am a believer and I do also prefer, right from wrong.
Without this, what else is there??

Politics, a much more difficult subject!!!

Best wishes Bob and thank you for your Blog comments recently,
Eileen :)
