Yare

Y is the twenty fifth letter
X-hausted from trying to catch Z
it's also an infinite question
deciphering all that we see
it's a consonant on occasion
a vowel when it chooses to be
or an integer in the equation
explaining the great mystery.

Wonderful!!
Same as you see letters in personification, like X chasing Z, I see numbers like this.
Thanks for this inspiration, may be some time later I too will write a poem like this on numbers.

I should have used "yare" in my Y" poem! (Transport / Nautical Terms) (of a vessel) adv. - answering swiftly to the helm; easily handled
Loved this!

Wow thanks everyone, this one just popped in my head the other day when I was thinking 'What am I going to write for Y?' Such a versatile character ;-)
