THEY
are those
who feed on woes,
that charge for heat
and pray it snows,
that strip the meek
then sell the bones
and snidely tell us,
So it goes.

WE
are they
on whom THEY prey
that hope for grace
when we can’t pay,
that watch our dreams
get worn away,
it’s time to say
WE won’t obey!
