This is my hypothesis
of why a god seeks mortal bliss:
imagine knowing everything
but never feeling love's sweet sting,
the passion of a long wet kiss,
the turbulence a touch can bring;
to crave such sensual delight
can surely cause internal plight
for beings from a higher plane
when fierce reactions snap the rein
which interrupts their holy flight
for fleeting joy despite the pain.
