We make a choice
to use our voice
for dismal drool
or to rejoice

a moment gained
with hope maintained
to face the cruel
and unexplained.

I know I have probably said this before, but I love your knack for poems that flow and read effortlessly. Thanks for inspiring me to thinking about incorporating such craft in my poetry

Very nice!

I'm impressed by the straightforward language and the lack of pretentiousness -- it's what I try for (most of the time) in my verse.

BTW: I wondered over to your site through the Blog Flux directory.

Hi Brian, thanks a lot. Though I make a concentrated effort to be glib I truly appreciate your wonderful compliment.

Hi Harvey, thanks to you as well, and thanks for letting me know I didn't waste my time at BFD. Stop by whenever you can.

Take care,
