Look at all the guinea pigs
in their posh suburban digs
and even clustered mobile rigs
performing for their pellet food
in many shapes and multi-hued
that alters any drastic mood.
Distended cheeks frame darting eyes
that seek the council of the wise
to earn another coated prize
in order to suppress their rage
or make depression disengage
to keep a happy, healthy cage.
