Robots we’ve created
know they have mutated
beyond the point of needing to adapt;
science, the big savior
conquers bad behavior
as quickly as a TV set is zapped.
Organs are replaceable
humility untraceable
pollutants kill as neatly as we plant,
steel is hard and clever
but panaceas never
make a mountain bow before an ant.
