Don’t be so smug over what you can do
If it’s just what your masters tell you to
The buzzwords you spout are literal chains
That strangle the logic in well laundered brains
We all will believe whatever we choose
My advice is: don’t depend on the news
Or people in power who tell you they care,
If you doubt everything you’re halfway there
To seeing the truth of absurdities they
Present as facts in their straight-faced way
Deceptions are never fun to perceive
But it’s better than being made naïve.
