TO BE

To feel the pleasing tingle
of a soft breeze on my skin—
To see a prism splinter light
and drink the colors in—
To smell the rich and heady loam
that carpets forest deep—
To hear the blessed murmur
of a newborn fast asleep—
To savor every flavor
in this pungent world of spice—
To truly sense all that is life
naught else will suffice!

Wonderful! Walt Whitman said that we should suck the marrow out of life. And have added a wonderful rhyme to that sentiment!

Carpe Diem!

Bob I loved the rhyme and flow. I also loved how you used the color for each line as...well diffrente flavors. Thank you for sharing.
