We all are the progeny
of targeted homogeny
so don't you ever dare to deviate
or you will be the enemy
of those with lethal enmity

Standings

I know the time is nearing
but blissfully play games
there's not much point in fearing
a god's almighty aims

it's futile to try fighting
the less than holy end
our means are expediting
and when it does descend

I hope my lack of trying
doesn't knock me out of place
or hinder qualifying
for His redemptive grace.

Backup Plan

At times it seems there's nothing worse
than when your strategy goes south
but I'm prepared to hit reverse
if my foot invades my mouth.

Motivation.

Attack aggressively
and sometimes you will see
though bruised and sore
your foe will roar
and fight back more ferociously

so plan offenses well
and never waste a shell
the walls you storm
in fiendish form
could trap your troops in hell

Free Ride

Age may be a number
but I'm starting to relate
to the digits that must lumber
down the sidewalk, through the gate
on the day when I will slumber
and finally be sedate
where nothing can encumber
what the void will liberate.

Spirit

The present can look pretty from the wrapping that's applied
the contents can sometimes be less so
regardless how you gild it, if there's emptiness inside
the future's bleak; give love to all you know.

This culture of denial

who love to topple pillars

we give them medication

and graphic games where murder is condoned
then stand there unbelieving

the hapless victim slain when they were stoned.

There are geese on the water

Oh shadowy orb with rim afire
