May ALL who read this reach some type of peace
And may whatever pain you’re feeling cease,
Regardless what you practice or believe
I hope success becomes what you achieve.
In this uncertain world it’s nice to know
Not everyone is heartless to your woe
And while there’s not a lot that I can do
Please realize at least this much is true:
My greatest wish is that we somehow find
A way to coexist without the need
To always keep defenses well maintained;
If only we could elevate our kind
Above those who prey versus those who bleed
Imagine what new heights could be attained.
