Deviation

How can anyone ever be
convinced of anything at all
as much as those who spout with glee
that deities were made to fall

the implications resonate
throughout the little we perceive
of architecture so ornate
that those with eyes should soon believe

but arrogance compels the head
to blindly contradict the heart
and once the masses are misled
is when His graces will depart.
