It started with an apple
and now it seems we grapple
with unhealthy appetites that go unchecked;
you can't ignore The Father
then say 'What a bother!'
when everything is liberally wrecked,

remember: we were granted
a chance to skirt the planted
scenario which brought us naught but pain
until someone's desire
exploited by a liar
birthed the Matriarch of those less wise than vain.
