He saw the slow cessation
of light and then he knew
the end of all creation
for judgment time was due
the angels poured their vials
as holy trumpets wailed
unleashing many trials
where wickedness prevailed
then his eyes were blinded
by the aura of The Lord
and all were soon reminded
of the swiftness of His sword
