I have a grandson named Westin
and in the morning when he’s done restin’
there’s one thing he fancies digestin’
the waffles he claims are the best in
the world, so I mix up the batter
then pour and occasionally splatter
all over but it doesn’t matter
his smile makes hesitance scatter.

Bob,
Your are such a clever and kind grandpa. Making sure that Westin has his favourite's to eat:)
Grandparenting brings such rewards, seen in the faces of the little ones.
Eileen
Hey Eileen, sorry I couldn't comment yesterday, yes he is special and deserves a little spoiling, maybe a blueberry one today since it's Saturday, thanks for reading.
Oh, this reminds me of my father making his special waffles for his grandchildren. Delightful!
