The banal reporter was brief: “Parents of the shooter express their grief.” and then their attempt at grace: “We don’t even know how this took place.” But I bet they rushed right back to their TV to find out what their excuse should be.
Youe words brought me back in time. As I have experienced growing up and life in Northern Ireland, acts of bloody violence were commonplace. I always had it in my mind that I could never forgive anyone who would have damaged, or taken the life of a loved one of mine. My position remains unchanged....
