Plowed

Institutions fall
rising profits stall
anxieties increase
until you want to bawl

the credit they extend
just wasn’t meant to spend
or dubiously grease
their hidden dividend

you can’t make ample feed
without a plot to seed
but never sign a lease
with harvesters of greed.

Great poem about the falling economy, people are in way over their heads. Hey I liked your story Mourning Dove. You know I just saw a geese or duck down by the creek, while walking my sister's dog tonight. It didn't even move as we approached, might have been resting, or injured!

Thanks Jo, just be careful around those wild critters!
