Spring Sacrament

The stillness of the round expanse
induces instant calm,
enraptured by the Martyr’s glance,
a sacred healing balm;

beneath the buds of verdant youth
that once more favor earth,
I see the vibrant living truth
bequeathed by His rebirth.
