The Networks

Our twisted strands
crisscross the lands
to form a silky mesh,
with lines galore
we’re trolling for
a juicy chunk of flesh;
each dangled rate
such tasty bait
to catch the unprepared,
as every school
jumps in the pool
impatient to be snared.

Very funny!

But what will happen when all our phone and cable lines are wireless and satellite? Oh well, we'll still have power lines -- until we get those portable cold fusion machines, that is. . . .

Hey AP, long time no see, glad you like it. Lines can also be the sales pitches they use to reel people in, and twisted strands could also be DNA, so it can apply to many things. 8^)
