Today was the day It died
And no one really seems to care
Not one person sniffed or cried
They carried on so laissez-faire
Just working, playing, laughing loud
There was no sorrow, no funeral shroud.
I really tried before it passed
To show how much it meant to me
But such frustration had amassed
My dream turned away, didn’t want to see
That look within my eyes that said
I'm moving on with life instead.
