Despite the unspeakable crash
that took your two friends in a flash
you've got to stay strong in your heart
of which they will always be part.
Our fate isn't easy to face
with any agreeable grace
but you didn't escape the debris
to keep mournfully asking 'Why Me?'

I just love this Bob!! The title is so perfect for your message here. We all have a purpose and much to be thankful for...especially when we have survived something like a great accident....but people can get so caught up in feeling sorry for themselves that they lose sight of what truly matters. :-)
