Lookers

A preponderance of pity won’t preclude
the misery of an ever-moping mood
rejoice in the reality you wreak
satisfaction serves the sort that seek.

    When evil invades our vessels weaker;
    First response is to give aide.
    Giving audience to revenge; do we
    then become seekers?
    For justice demands to be paid.

    Is it the good response to become a taker?
    Hasn't the Written answer already Been
    made?
    "Vengeance is Mine" so says our Maker
    Knowing this truth, defeats our fear
    and sorrow.
    With Removal of danger, faith and
    innocence will once Again live
    In tomorrow.
