Buy the Book

My thesaurus is tattered, it’s threadbare and frayed
from the scans and the searches and queries I’ve made,
I’m inclined to acquire, or purchase, or find
a replacement or stand-in of similar kind.

Now not sure I can make this rhyme
But, If you happen to be in that place
    Called "online"
You can try to type "dictionary.com"
And when you open you should find
A tab @ the top indicating thesaurus
    And origin I think
But I would hang on to the hard copy
    Book,
since it may contain better words
    For which you can look.

  3. At least it's had its run
And gave lots of rhyming fun
    Now its time it done
And you must get a new one

  4. Oh, I've had a paperback Roget's Thesaurus now for about 30 years and would be heart broken if it falls apart. LOL

    Oh Roget
    what would you say
    to see your life's work
    suffer this way?
