Fossil Fuel

As vital resources grow more and more scant
I’ve got to dig deeper to find
the energy needed, but boy if I can’t
reserves may have been over-mined.

    Maybe I should have called it fueling a fossil, a tongue in cheek ditty about my aging as it were, though of course the environment was a consideration also.
