Not being the sharpest pencil in the box, I can only wonder if the issue of 'repositioned weight' has more to do with metaphoric weight than actual weight of the ink, although, if the treatise in question involved 800-900 pages (single-spaced, of course), I suppose the weight of the ink itself might be a factor, assuming prolonged periods of carrying it.
