Professional Courtesy

Stiletto seams
and wit to match,
infrequent beams
a glimpse will catch.

That stalking gait,
fedora low,
imply a date
with sanctioned woe.

One lethal shot
right through the head—
a chalked-out spot;
regret long dead.

His holstered glee
awaits the blow
from someone he
will never know.

    Hey Bob,
I like your artwork and the poem but can't quite put them together. I'll read it again when I'm fully awake!

  4. Thanks Shirley, the poem wasn't inspired by the sketch, but since it was an assassin (Bullseye from Daredevil comic book) I thought I'd put it up too for a little flair.

Thanks Glenn, actually in that scene he was outside the Kingpin's window waiting to make a hit. BTW I was watching National Geographic and saw my first live weta, man those things are huge. Do you actually eat them? Looks like a couple would make a good meal!

  5. HIja, personally i donøt eat them )the reverse is more likely!) They are eaten by our living dinosaur the Tuatara and probably some nocturnal birds.
